For the apple cake with cream frosting, peel the apples, quarter them, core them and cut them into slices. Mix margarine, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and eggs until very creamy. Sift baking powder with flour and add to the mixture alternately with milk. Pour batter into a greased, floured baking pan, top with apples, raisins, sugar and cinnamon and bake at medium heat for 30 minutes. Separate the eggs and beat the whites until stiff. For the cream glaze, whisk together the cream, yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar until well blended. Fold in the stiff snow and pour over the apples. Bake the apple cake with cream topping for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
