Drain the sauerkraut and coarsely chop. Remove core of apples, cut apples into sticks and mix on the spot with the sauerkraut. Cut ham into strips and stir in.
For the sauce, mix crème fraîche with parsley, season strongly with salt, sugar and freshly ground pepper, fold in nuts. Pour the sauce over the salad ingredients, mix and leave to infuse for at least half an hour.
Season leaf salad before serving.
Serving: Rye roll.
Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
