Onion Casserole Au Gratin

Mix minced meat with breadcrumbs and eggs. Season with thyme, salt and freshly ground pepper. Form into small balls and fry them in hot oil until crispy, remove.

Peel the vegetable onions, cut into rings and sauté in the frying fat until translucent. Season. Peel and dice the potatoes.

Mix onions, minced meat dumplings and potato cubes and put into an ovenproof gratin dish (diameter 24 cm when preparing for 6 people). Pour clear soup and white wine over it.

Stir grated Parmesan cheese with the sour whipped cream, spread evenly over the top and bake in the heated oven at medium heat for 40-45 min.
