Instructions:

Cream butter, yolks and sugar. Mix flour with vanilla sugar and baking powder and stir in. Beat egg whites until stiff, fold in and pour into a buttered and floured cake tin. Bake in a hot oven at 175 °C at the beginning, later at 150 °C for approx. 45 minutes. Loosen the cake ring, sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm and cut into cake pieces.
