Knead the flour with water (as cool as possible), eggs and salt into a dough and roll out as thin as possible. With a kitchen knife, cut the dough into squares about 6 x 6 cm. Fill with pitted cherries and fold the dough squares into small triangles. Using a fork, press the two halves together along the edge to create a regular wreath pattern.
Boil in salted water until the wareniki rise to the surface. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
