Preheat the oven to 160 C for the Londonerschnitten. Beat the butter, sugar, lemon and yolks until fluffy, then mix in the flour and baking powder.

Spread the mixture on the baking tray and spread with jam. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and then fold in the hazelnuts.

Spread the egg white mixture on the jam and bake. Cut the Londonerschnitten into cubes while still warm.
