Instructions:

Cream butter with sugar and vanilla flavoring. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix flour with baking powder and fold into butter-sugar mixture alternately with milk. Pour the mixture into a greased and semolina-lined cake pan, spread it out smoothly and bake in a heated oven at 180 °C for about 35 minutes. Turn out onto a cooling rack and cool.

Place the Gugelhupf on a plate. Clean the berries, rinse, drain and garnish the cake with them.bring to the table dusted with powdered sugar.
