For the barley ring, cook the barley in bubbling, seasoned water for approx. 20 minutes.

Drain and chop in the Multiquick. Season with eggs, vegetarian paste, whole grain crumbs, salt, pepper and yeast seasoning.

Pour the mixture into a greased ring mold, top with butter flakes and bake at 220° for approx. 40 minutes.
