For the asparagus in a parcel, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Rinse the asparagus under running water, cut off the woody ends and then peel.
Divide the asparagus spears between 2 aluminum foil parcels (always take 2 pieces of foil). Place them nicely against each other, add a few flakes of butter and salt.
Close the packets tightly and leave in the oven for between 25 and 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus spears. Take out and serve!
