A great cake recipe for any occasion:
Mix flour, sugar, butter, hazelnuts, vanilla sugar and alcohol in a baking bowl with the dough hook of a hand mixer and knead a shortcrust dough with well chilled hands. Mix the hazelnuts and flour, roll out the dough to a thickness of 3 mm. Cut out half moons. Bake on a baking tray lined with parchment paper (or greased) in a heated oven at 200 °C for 15 to 20 minutes until light brown.
