Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

1. peel and rinse potatoes and make in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain and mash. 2.

2. melt butter and add to hot potatoes, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Sift flour over the potatoes and knead into a smooth dough. Divide into 8 small balls and roll each out on a little bit of flour (about 1 cm thick, about 10 cm ø).

3. Heat 1-2 tbsp. oil in a frying pan. Fry 4 balls on both sides for 4-5 min until crispy. Keep warm. Roast another 4 small cakes in 1-2 tbsp. hot oil.

Season crème fraîche with juice of one lemon, salt and freshly ground pepper. Arrange pancakes with 1 blob of crème fraîche and 1 slice of salmon on each. Garnish with lemon and dill.
