In a baking bowl, mix the flour and salt. Boil the water with the oil, pour over the flour and knead with the dough hook of the hand mixer until a smooth, not too firm dough.


Place dough in a piping bag fitted with a medium nozzle. Heat oil in a saucepan or deep fryer and pipe 10 cm long sticks directly into the hot fat. Fry in oil for four minutes until golden brown.

Lift out churros, drain on kitchen roll, sprinkle with fine sugar.
