Instructions:

For the chocolate cake pops, melt the butter in a saucepan on the stove. Beat the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with the mixer for a few minutes.

Mix cocoa, chocolate flakes, flour and baking powder in a bowl and add to the mixer. Lastly, stir in the melted butter.

Mix well (you may still need to stir by hand to make sure everything is mixed well). Pour the mixture into the cake pops pan (I use a silicone baking pan).

To fill the masses into the baking pan, I use a freshness bag. I put this over a container (e.g. measuring cup), fill the mass and then cut away the bottom corner of the bag.

So you can fill the mass cleanly into the mold. Then bake the whole thing in the preheated oven (180°) for about 22 minutes.

After removing from the oven, let the mold cool for a few minutes, then remove the cake pops and let cool completely before decorating.

I use chocolate icing for decorating. To do this, dip the sticks (cake pops sticks or skewers) about 1 – 1.5 cm into the liquid icing and then stick them into the cake pops.

Wait a few minutes until the glaze is solid (then the pops hold better on the sticks). After that you can decorate the cake pops as you like or depending on the occasion.
