Remove the skin from the onions and chop them very finely. Heat butter in a frying pan. Roast onions in it for 10 minutes until golden brown. Rinse parsley, dry and chop finely. Put flour in a suitable bowl and sprinkle cheese over it. Make an indentation in the center. Put the eggs in it.

Add the onion and parsley to the eggs and sprinkle with a little cheese and flour. Knead quickly until a firm dough is formed. Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan and season with salt. Shape the dough into dumplings of about 4 cm. in the salted water and cook for 15 minutes.
