Instructions:

For the Sugo Bolognese, fry the minced beef in olive oil in a large pan until crumbly. Briefly fry the onions until everything is lightly browned. Then add the finely diced or grated vegetables and finally tomato paste, a little sugar and garlic.

Deglaze with red wine and reduce briefly. Add the chopped tomatoes with the juice and water or soup as needed. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and oregano. Then simmer very slowly over low heat. Simmer for at least 1 1/2 hours and keep adding water or soup as needed!

Season the finished sauce again and sprinkle the Sugo Bolognese with fresh basil.
