Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Cut the cleaned rhubarb unpeeled into 3 cm long pieces.

Sift the flour, cornstarch and baking powder.

Beat the softened butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. gradually fold in the eggs, egg yolks and flour mixture (the latter by the tablespoonful).

Pour into a greased springform pan.

Place the rhubarb on the dough and bake the cake in a heated oven at 180 °C for 25 minutes. (*) Whip the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form. Finally, add the sugar and the juice of one lemon.

Remove the cake from the stove, sprinkle the whipped cream on top and bake for another 20 min.

(*) at this point is written on my note: “much longer, 40 min. eg.) Is just as very delicious with gooseberries liter.
