Sauté onions and finely chopped garlic in butter until soft. Cut the puff pastry in half and spread the onion-garlic mixture on one half. Sprinkle the herbs and cheese on top. Cover with the other half of the puff pastry. Brush with milk. Cut into 2cm wide strips. Twist the strips into a spiral and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for about 8 minutes at 170 degrees.
