For the puff pastries with jam, first preheat the oven to 190°C. Cover a baking tray with baking paper.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares. Cut about 1 1/2 cm from the edge. Do not cut all the way through at 2 opposite corners. Already cut in at each of the other corners. Cut again 1 cm further inside in the same way (cut in at the same corners or do not cut in).

Place about 1 tablespoon of jam in the center.

Lift the inner strip that has resulted from cutting in at one of the cut corners and fold it over to the other side. Do the same with the opposite corner. Repeat the same with the outer corners.

Brush the dough with a little water.

Place the puff pastries with jam on the baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes (or according to package directions), until golden and crisp. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
